From His Point of View I am an A4 Person
This is a compilation of 67 individual portraits of people in their domestic habitats; their apartments/houses. Calderon’s observations of society create these categories, skaters, metal fans, city-girls, Harley Davidson-bikers, voluntary workers, new-age people and football-fans, which gives a collective identity to the sitters. In this project Calderon explores the idea of a collective versus individual identity, self-representation, portraiture, visual identity, cultural perception. The project was presented as an exhibition at Bergen Kunsthall and was then compiled in a publication of 400 copies.
